DAYA - Other Activities

Under the banner of the Dixit AarogyaYoga Anusandhana (DAYA) Charitable Trust, the Centre is involved in charitable activities to help economically poorer sections of the society. The objective of the trust is "Aarogya Rakshaa and Aarogya Shiksha" or "Health Protection and Health Education"

To this end, the trust is linked with various philanthropic organisations and periodical free health checkup and Ayurveda treatment camps are conducted in and around Mysore city.

The trust is also working with governmental and non governmental organizations to promote and propagate medicinal plants. Free distribution of medicinal plants to the interested public has been taken up as an important activity of the trust.
